over current and z-axis position not reachable

Hi-tech

Dear All,
The manipulator has 3 direction (x,y,z axes). We are facing problem with z-axis.
The inverter with the same setting having too much high current around 35 A when moving downwards, 28 A when moving upwards and displays E.OC (over current). The motor rated current is 14.6 A. After changing the inverter setting, the current seems to be normal, 10 A when moving downward and 8 A when moving upward but this will not solve our problem.
Now load is not stationary in its home position. Always up and down in home position, also stops and giving an alarm ?_oz-axis position is not reachable?__.
Please help me out........
Thank you for your co-operation
