How to force c-start
Hi,
IA'm having problems with my controller. When I start the system "Startup error New Motion -9" error shows but I canA't do nothing on the teach pendant.
How Can I force to boot normally and reinstall the system from my floppies ?
Any way to force to enter on c-start ?
Thank you all.

Last time this happened to me it was on an S4cPlus controller, what ABB service said was that the robot wasn't reading from the serial measurement board correctly. In our case we were able to replace a wire harness/connection at the robot that had a shorted pin and this removed the issue. However, without finding the root of the issue you likely won't be able to do a C-start, the controller will continue to show this error. Try calling ABB service center and they will walk you through a few troubleshooting steps.Good Luck!0

Hi, setup motion error usually mean that there is some wrong configuration in the parameters of the manipulator, or the the controler can't comunicate with smb board in the manipulator.
Let the system start up and read all elogs carefully, I think you will find more information about the problem.
