Hello, I studies mechanical engineering and must momentarily a training presentation for RobotStudio provide. In this presentation I am to state among other things the differences of MoveJoint and MoveLine. Can someone describe me the differences? Is there a definition of these two movement variants?

MoveLinear (MoveL) is used to move the tool centre point (TCP) linearly to a given destination at a certain speed.
MoveJoint (MoveJ) is used to move the robot quickly from one point to another when that movement of the TCP does not have to be in a straight line. The robot and external axes move to the destination position along a non-linear path. All axes reach the destination position at the same time./Martin Lundh
