we are having a few problems with our robot Abb S4c
Always same problem can be at home or in working mode we have communication error
teach
pendant communication lost. always have to reset 0 axis. have any other
user come across this problem. we have had 3 engineers from ABB but are
unable to find fault. we have changed all boards inside the robot
itself and still have problem. any help would be appreciated.

    I think you have a problem with a cable inside of the manipulator. May be is at the end of his life.
    You can make a easy chek. Make a program, where you move only the axis 1, move the robot al range you can. Then execute the program at high speed. If you have de fault, you should check the cable in the bottom of the robot. If not, try to repeat it in the second axis, and so on.

    Also, it will be good know, which model manipulador have, is a 6400, or a 1400, etc?.
