Collision detection

Hey All,

Is it possible to do collision detection on a path between two points without having to watch the graphics running? using C# commands?

Or is it only possible to detect the two points explicitly?

Also, is it possible to make a watch on the 5th axis, to make sure it isn't below +- 10 degrees?
