Configure Conveyor Encoder Unit - Minimum Distance
Dear Forum Members/Admins,
Currently I am learning about making simulation on RobotStudio with Conveyor Tracking. I got stumbled upon the value-choosing for "Minimum Distance" parameter in Conveyor Tracking. I have tried reading the manuals, but still I cannot find the answer.
My questions are :
1) As we can see in the picture above, by default, the "Minimum Distance" is set with value (-600) mm. What is the meaning of negative value in "Minimum Distance" parameter? and what if the value is positive? Which direction does it go? (You may refer to the Positive X-Direction in the Conveyor's Base Frame in the picture above as reference when we talk about direction...)
2) Can the "Maximum Distance", "Start Window Width", and "Queue Track Distance" parameters have negative values as well? If yes, what does that mean? Which direction?
3) If we set a Conveyor Mechanism for simulation in RobotStudio, normally/by default, where the Synchronization Switch is positioned? Is it by default set at the same position as the origin (coordinate (0,0,0)) of the Conveyor's Base Frame?
Please help me with this questions. Thank you very much!!!
