base plate selection [ArcWelding PowerPac]

Sometimes when selecting a base plate in the create weld tab The OK button doesnt come up.

This often happens when selecting a plane ajecent to the weld

When selecting other planes the OK button does come up.

After selecting a different plane with the same orientation the ajecent plane the button does come up when selecting the ajecent plane.

To do this I must reorient my view.

Where does this come from and  is there a solution for this.
