Hello there,
I got a strange problem (hopefully not so strange to you)
I have created an search instruction (search_1D) in arc weld power pack
When i press on the simulation button it will run down the program
But when i look at the rapid editor code there is a whole bunch of the same search instructions in it

Everytime i press the simulaton button, the search instruction in the rapid editor duplicate itself....
I have tried a lot of things and im getting low on options....

anybody got a clue?

  • Hi,

AWPP sometimes has problems with updating the VC, when you make changes to the path.
Delete the module in the VC and Synchronize again.

Note that you have used ArcMoveAbsj, not a normal Airposition for a standard system. Used for multimove.

  • Thanks for the advice
I have tried to put the data in a new module, trow all the data away an syngronise again, it did't work out..
Yet with an older version of my station, on another computer the duplication is gone.
And i think to know wy:
in the picture below you can see that the search_1D command is now highlighted in blue
i gess it recognizes the command and it turns blue somehow?

  • Which RS version are you using?

There was a problem in RobotStudio 5.15 that made RS fail to recognize "hidden" instructions. I suppose the Search1D instruction might have been one of them. Try installing RS 5.15.01 and see if it helps.
