Fix IP Address

On the System Info page for LAN network in the Pendant, the top line that says Configuration says "Fix IP address" under it, then it lists the IP, gateway, etc.
I have a lot of connectivity issues with the robots on the wireless network (a robot that I'm connected to in RobotStudio will go offline without warning, then I have to ping the IP address repeatedly to get it to show up in RStudio again), and so far, every one I've checked says "Fix IP address." Does this indicate that the network settings are incorrect?
What else can I do to diagnose / fix the issue?

    Can you provide info on how it's configured now? With network layout and how you've configured ip address, subnet and so on :) Not sure that wireless is the best way either as wireless isn't as reliable as a wired network.

    It's set up with a static IP address, the subnet is 255.255.0.0.
    I don't know a lot of details of how it's been configured, as IT set it up, but I can try to find out information if I have specific questions to ask.
    Yes, obviously wireless isn't as reliable as a wired network, but wireless is the only method that makes sense for this application, as the robots are moved around a lot.
