Got 8 bytes from TCP/IP..How to select byte 4-6 for another process ?

Could I ask anyone a question ?

Now I have established an ABB140-Computer communication over TCP/IP and I can receive a set of 8-data bytes. By consideration, 2 bytes of them, which are 4th-6th Bytes, will be selected for further process.

Then could anyone please suggest me how to grab the mentioned bytes.
