Flexpendant Communication Problem

Hi All,
i just had a customer contact me with a problem with a FlexPendant.
This is a 6640, IRC5, 2009 edition.
The robot is less than 2 years old.
The FlexPendant seems to have lost it's connection to the IRC5 controller. It powers up ok, but it is constantly showing the message "connecting to controller" with the blue status bar, as if it is constantly rebooting, but it's not losing power.
I'm assuming that a pinched or slightly damaged FlexPendant cable can cause this (If one of the ethernet cores is damaged), but it is there anything else I should watch out for?
Thanks.

Hi......
By my experiences.....there is 3 possibilities
1. CPU (Computer Unit) Faulty
2. TPU (Pendant) Faulty ....hardware or software
3. Memory Card Problem
I have faced that above 3 problems.
If it is possible, please try to replace with another Pendant.
