ABB 140 error 50077 joint not synchronized, rob 1_1

What is the Common causes for this error and how can I prevent it? It has happened at a customer and since it costs a plane ticket and a production stop I really need to know how to prevent stuff like this! Is the a list of error codes and common causes that I can take a look at somewhere - just to get a feeling of the issues, root causes and resolutions / preventions that is occurring...
