Hello everyone,<div><br></div><div>I would like to mute controller IRC5 compact, because currently the level of noise is very high and is unacceptable to the destination position. The noise is mainly generated by fans which are working without interruption. Is it possible to somehow temporarily disable these fans, that will not work all the time? Or reduce their speed? Or would be possible change to other low-speed fans? In addition, can I monitor the temperature of the controller to make sure that is not overheating? I would ask for help and guidance in this topic, how to safely reduce the noise level, that  not to cause accidental damage to the controller.</div><div><br></div><div>Best regards</div><div>Pawel</div>
Best regards,

  • For an IR120 in a classroom - with a very low duty cycle and small load-  there is an easy solution. <br>Use voltage regulators to lower from 24 to 12V the power supply for the fans.<br>Of course, you must check with your local ABB dealer regarding warranty issues.<br>Best regards.<br>
