Problem connecting to the virtual controller over a different subnet

Hi All,
Could you please advice on the following scenario?
We have two sub nets (10.234.2.x, 10.234.3.x) and each has a computer running Robot Studio 5.15.01.
I was expecting I could see other virtual controller (VC) from one sub net but I couldn't.
However I have configured local PC firewall as well to allow following ports.
UDP inbound port 5513 on machine seeking VC
UDP outbound port 5512, 5514 on machine running VC
TCP outbound port 5515 on machine running VC
For some reason I am unable to connect to the other machine virtual controller.
I found a documentation from the forum (http://forums.robotstudio. com/discussion/7985/can-pc- sdk-work-with-multiple- network-simultaneously)
I cannot find the registry entry (even I cannot find the registry key!) stated in this document. I created reg keys by myself and placed the netscanconf.xml path in there.
This did not helped to resolve the problem.
Do you have known this before or any advice would be great.

You can only connect to VCs running on your local PC, not to VCs running on other PCs on the network. The document describes how to connect to real controllers.

Thanks Henrik for your comments.I can see RobotStudio is able to connect to VCs if they are in the same sub net. However it is not possible to connect to the VCs over a different sub net.RobotStudio can successfully connect to real controllers over different sub nets.0
