Delta robot ConfL and SingArea

I think i understand the workings of the commands ConfL and SingArea on articulated robots, but i am having more trouble seeing how they would perform on delta robots (IRB360). Could anyone share their knowledge on this?
I'm trying to reverse engineer a pick and place program where these commands are used extensively.
