Free Rapid Memory Very Low

Hello,

The is the first post I have put on here, so here goes:

We are working in a car plant in China and are responsible for 100's of ABB IRC5 robots. We have had some recent problems with a handful of robots that are all carrying out the same process (Roller Hemming). We have had instances where a backup cannot be performed. Upon inspection we believed the problem to be down to the Total used Rapid Memory being 24.7 MB out of a possible 25 MB. 

My question to all reading this is this: what actually gets written/stored on the 'Rapid Memory'. Forgive me if this is an obvious question to some of you? Could somebody please point me in the right direction so that I can at least research this myself. If I can figure out what gets written to the memory, I might be able to prevent the problem from happening.

    by any chance did you update your robotware?

    maybe you forgot to remove an older version?
