  • Hello,,

LEDs status say the Computer system is in abnormal and Communication doesn't work at all. Solid Red means O.S loading from Flash disk.

The reason might be following two things.

    1. O.S is corrupted.

    2. Flash disk is broken.

If you want to monitor in depth situation, Use "MC console mode"(Connecting hyper terminal to S4Cplus via Serial cable.)

    Regards,

  • I have made the cable and hooked it to MC/Concole connection on the computer.

    My cable is as follows:

    ABB      Laptop

    MC/C.      Com1

    2---------3

    3---------2

    5---------5

I have tried many different settings for my hyper terminal with no success.  I can not find those setting in my manuals, would anyone have them handy.

    I am looking for:

    baud rate: (bits per second)

    Data bits

    Parity

    Stop bits

    Flow control

Again thank you very much for all of your help.

  • I think I got it but nothing comes up.  I have pulled the mass storage DSQC564A 64MB memory.  There is a jumper setting on it.  Is there a way to reset this incase it is corrupted and not destroyed?
