Welddata and Seamdata
in PowerPacs
Hi,
I cannot seem to find anything about components of the welddata and seamdata. I'm very curious what those components mean. For example why the main_arc.voltage is present also as main_arc.voltage2. Could somebody explain to me what exactly those components change in the weld settings? If there is any manual on that I would happily accept it

Try to find arcware manual on the net, there you will have explanation regarding these data. In short: Welddata is used to control the weld during the weld phase, that is, from when the arcis established until the weld is completed.Other phases, such as the start and end phases, are controlled using seamdata.0

I try to use arcweld program but i not find seam, weld and wavedata ?? have i missed something ??

Do you see the Arc instructions in your IPL? Maybe your system was not built correctly to have the arcware.Lee Justice0

I know this is an old chat but my question should fit:
I define welddata as follows:
PERS welddata wd1:=[5,0,[1,0,29,10,0,202,0,0,0],[0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0]];
So the arcdata consists of 9 values. I found that syntax in the documentation and in different discussions.
However, RobotStudio shows an error and requires 10 values. What is the misunderstanding on my side?0
