Assembly parts when creating mechanism
Hello,
Is it possible to create mechanical connections or mates between parts when creating a mechanism in RS, for example a coaxialité or a coincidence between two parts?
I created an assembly of my tool using SOLIDWORKS (3 parts with 6 mates), is there a specific format supported by RS which keeps the connections created in Solidworks?
Thanks for helping.

Hello,No, it is not possible to create "mates" in RobotStudio as you do in for example SolidWorks, and it´s not possible to keep the mates/connections created in SolidWorks. The tools you primarily use in RobotStudio to position objects correct is "Place", "Set Position" and "Rotate". When you do this, it´s important to have the correct "Snap Mode" and "Selection Level" active.Regards,AndersBest regards,
