RS-232 Connection

Hi, I have a tool to connect the robot IRB-120, namely BarrettHand, and I have to handle it.
I have the libraries of the tool, and its program, but do not know how to establish the connection with it, can anyone help?
Thank you

  • First of all you need to configure the serial channel. Read the manual Technical reference manual - System parameters and the topic communication on how to configure the serial channel.
In the Rapid manual you have the information on how to program it but take a look on iodev

  • Thank you.
You know if I can get the libraries from BarrettHand within Rapid ?
It has the necessary functions to move the hand, and do not know how to do it without them.
    Thank you
