Hello,
I am using RobotStudio and RobotWare 5.15.02 on Windows 7. I have taken a backup from a real controller and restored it in RobotStudio. After starting the programm everything is working until the following error appears on the FlexPendant:
The system module for the license is loaded from the backup with all the other modules. In the reference manual I have found the following description:
Where should I find the module "Home_ID.SYS" in the backup and why is it not available after restoring the complete backup?
Thank you in advance and Merry Christmas!

HPR-Error 5004

There is no license for the
<Homepos Running> - functionality
The system module for the license is loaded from the backup with all the other modules. In the reference manual I have found the following description:
Reason:
The module „HOME_ID“ is missing or it has
been registered for another robot.
Action:
Load the module „HOME_ID.SYS“ into the
robot controller.
Request for the necessary registering module,
telling the robot no. at ABB Robotics GmbH,
department MI.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem? The module „HOME_ID“ is missing or it has
been registered for another robot.

Load the module „HOME_ID.SYS“ into the

Hello,
have you created a new robot system based on the backup with a newer Robotware?
If yes, please create a backup an check if the serial number of the controller is the long (6640-123456) or the short version (66-23456) and compare it against the serial number in name of the license file (LIC66_23456.SYS") of HomposRunning.
The serial numbers of the robots has been changed from the short to the long version, so that the registered serial number is not longer valid in your system.
Maybe you can use the older Robotware which is used in the real controller or you can create a robot controller with an virtual key instead of the real keys.
Best regards
Micky

Hello Micky,
you are right, I have used RobotWare 5.15.02... instead of 5.15.01... for restoring the backup.
After installing the older Version of RobotWare it is working.
Thanks a lot!
Best regeard
