External Axis Wizard And Multiple Joints Conrolled by One Motor

I have a mechanism that has three external axes. One of the external axes is controlling two fixtures that are interconnected, call them joints 3 and 4. I added a dependency between joints 3 and 4, and they seem to work properly using mechanism joint jog. The External Axis Wizard wants to add four motors to the mechanism because there are four joints. How do I set this up properly?
Thanks,
Ted

Hi,
Just an idea, when using External Axis Wizard use a temp mech with one joint. After the system is built change to your real mech with two joints.
