Profinet Wan port and OPC Server

Hello,
we have a two ABB Robots (6700-235/2.65, RobotWare-Version 5.61.3012). Robots controllers are connected to the PLC via Profinet over WAN Port. We have also OPC Server for changing the Variables on Robots.
IP Settings:
Profinet IP: 192.168.15.33 ;255.255.255.0 ;Standard Gateway not used
X-Start IP: 192.168.15.35 ; 255.255.255.0 ;192.168.15.1
With this IP settings we cannot connect with OPC server. Also in RobotStudio connection with Robots was constantly breaking up. No other device used IP 192.168.15.35
Then I change X-Start IP Adress to: 192.168.16.35 ;255.255.255.0 ;192.168.16.1
No everything works with no problem.
I just wann to ask why is in second case working? If you have Profinet over WAN Port, which IP can you set in X-Start?

As far as i know you cannot use IP adresses from the same range - i mean 15.33 and 15.35 because in such situation server "doesn't" know which adress should it use0
