rslib to CAD
in RobotStudio
Hi
I have some .step files that I placed in RobotStudio and I want to export a 3D model which can be used in a 3D program. All I can do is export to collada data and i cant use it since it only has graphical component. Is there anyway I can export an .rslib file to .step or something I can use? If not is there anyway I get positions and orientations of each component so that I can create same scene ina 3D program.
Thank you for your time:D

Hi,The Add-In "Export Geometries" on RobotApps exports all geometries in a station to one ACIS (.sat) file.I recommend that you export to the ACIS version R20, to be sure that it´s compatible with other 3D CAD programs. When RobotStudio 6.01 is released, I will upload a new version of the Add-In that can export to all CAD formats that have a valid license (e.g. STEP).Regards,AndersBest regards,
