File and Serial Handling

When you configure a station with option 620-1 File and Serial Handling and load a program in the VC, an errormessage is generated. "The instruction open requires the option file and serial handling", the system image does not include the required option.

    Hi,

    I tried to reproduce the problem and I do not get any problem if I create a system with the 620-1 option from scratch. However, if I modify a previously started system and warmstart it, then I get the problem. The system needs to be I-started after it has been modified for the changes to take effect. (Note that I-start is currently denoted cold start in RobotStudio. )

    Beware, though that all your configuration and program changes will be lost when the system is I-started. Remember to take a backup of the system prior to the I-start.
