Auto Stop diagnosis
I am having issues with our IRC5 system throwing auto-stops durring welding. The outstops are a prox sensor and a light curtain. Is there a way to determine which auto stop is breaking the chain? When i look a the the DI's all seems fine. Is there a way to use any RAPID code to determine the source of the stop?

This would be more of an electrical troubleshooting. The outputs of the devices should be wired directly into the AutoStop circuit and I'm guessing are in series with one another. If that is the case the robot only sees them as a single signal. But without knowing exactly how your system is setup, it's hard to help.0

todd.madole : I have limited experience with robotic spot welders, so you are probably more familiar than I am with the problems an electric arc can create - prox switches false sense, and light curtains can be blinded. All it takes is a flicker to shut down the auto stop. As bob865 mentioned, the sensors are probably wired in series. If they happen to drive a relay, you might be able to trap an individual signal.0
