I have a problem with running simulation using external axis wizard!!
I imported robot in empty station and created new station from layout.
I created mechanism (external axis) and imported it as .rslib.
Used external axis wizard to add robot and mechanism.
Then I attached robot to the mechanism (so it can move with it).
Programmed two points (4m apart on the external axis). I ran auto configuration and robot moved nicely on the external axis.
When I try to run simulation it said that second point is outside of robot reach?!? What am I doing wrong or am I missing something??
Attached is movie of the application that I am trying to create.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have had some issues, when I create my own mechanism, where the robot is placed in a different position in robotstudio and in the virtual controller. If I open virtual flexpendant, then the jogging window, gives me different coordinates, the the coordinates I get in robotstudio. It results in that the movement of the robot in simulation differs from the points I used. I believe that it has something to do with how the mechanism is created. If calibration or direction the axis is wrong?0

There are a number of things you can check. First, is your mechanism configured as a SINGLE or as a ROBOT (should be SINGLE in this case). Next, compare the coordinates of the linear jog tool in RS with the coordinates of the FlexPendant. Check positive directions and the actual values. Results? Kind regards, HenrikHenrik Berlin

Thanks for the reply. I checked coordinates and you are correct! FlexPendant and RS have different coordinates. I am working on fixing it and will let you know the outcome.0
