Palletizing with Smart Components
Palletizing Application in Robot Studio 6.01:
Robot picks incoming boxes from an infeeder and builds stacks of boxes on two different turning tables! If stacks are completed, turning tables transfer stacks out from robot area by turning 180degrees.
It is my first try with smart components, I became this running already:
1. Generating and moving boxes on infeeder with a Source and Positioner
2. Attach/Detach boxes to robot gripper with an Attached/Detacher and Line-Sensor on the gripper.
So all boxes are moved by robot from infeeder to both of the turning tables
I guess I can use a volume-sensor to detect all boxes belonging together after detaching from robot - but after this how to collect them into a new single (stack) object?
Before rotating I have to bind the stack (or all boxes) to the turning table?
If I can make e new single (stack) object from all these box-objects, it would be easy to attach, move, rotate, and delete it afterwards!?
