
Best way to import Geometry (converted from CATIA / .cgrs)

Hello,
I have a complex CATIA assembly with numerous parts. I am trying different export methods to maintain the most accuracy as well as the most efficient file size.
So far I have tried to convert each of the .cgr(parts) as .SAT's. The assembly imported into RS fine, but the file size of the station jumped to 1.3gb and has a lot of lag.
Any ideas?

What if you remove the cad geometry, right click on the part and select modify and remove cad geometryPer Svensson
