IRC5 switch from manual to automatic mode with PLC (SPC/ SPS)

Hello,

I want to use a PLC to activate the automatic mode of the IRC5. I configured two System Inputs at the IRC5 for MotorsOn and StartAtMain. With the two Inputs I can activate the motors of the IRC5 and also reset the program pointer to main and start the program using the PLC.

My problem is that this works only if you confirm the message shown on the FlexPendant when the IRC5 is switched from manual to automatic mode. Is it possible to confirm the massage with the PLC?
Later on the user should not need or interact with the FlexPendent. So wenn the user turns the key on the IRC5 the PLC must somehow activate or confirm the automatic mode.

I talked to the support and got the answer to my question. If someone have the same problem I want to post it here.

It is not possible! The warning on the FelxPendant when one changes from manual to automatic mode is a safety feature and can not be confirmed remotely (i.e. by SPS or PLC). If this would be possible the SPS could start a program and movement of the robot completely by itself when someone changes to automatic mode.

Picture this: Error occurred. Someone enters the robot cell with a FlexPendant to move the robot in the right position to continue. Someone else outside does not know that a person is inside the cell and switches from manual to automatic mode. If the warning could be confirmed by PLC the PLC would recognize the warning confirm it and start the program. Bad for the one who is in the cell. But instead a warning pops up on the FlexPendant that can not be confirmed remotely. The person in the cell can see that someone tries to switch to automatic mode and can decline the action. It is a safety feature.
