Main voltage for Robot
I have a concern about using main power for Robot.
ABB 262V robot such as 1200,120.. can use directly 3phases 480V AC for Servo motor module from the factory electrical grid (without servo transformer)? We just need a electronic transformer to convert to 230~ for controller, right?

The world transformer is ordered if you need to change the mains voltage (say exporting the robot to another country) - as shown above you move the tapping on the transformer.
Other wise you order the robot for the mains voltage you require.
In both cases all other voltages used in the controller are supplied from the built in transformer or power supplies you do not need to do anything.

Thank graemepaulin,
I got your mean, but I want to know: my factory grid is 480 3~, and I have robot IRB1200 (262V 3~).
So can we connect directly servo module to factory grid without transformer, does Servo drive work? or explode? ( just need small electronic transformer for Controller module) ??

What mains voltage does it say on the controller label?
This will be what voltage the controller is expecting to be connected to.
If it is different to your 480 volt supply take the rear cover off and see if there is a tap on the transformer for 480 V - if so you can move the wiring over as shown above.
If it is correct simply connect the mains to the controller (instruction are in the product manual).
