Hi I'm relatively new to robot studio. Whenever I use auto configure I get an error stating " could not jump to target" even though there is a valid configuration for the target. Why does this happen and what is the solution for this?

If you enable "View Robot at Target" an click on the different targets in your path is it possible for all of them?
Mostly this happens when the robot is close to an end position in one or several of it's joints and the closest way to the next target is to continue to rotate that joint(which isn't possible).
That's why the auto configuration won't work.
I don't know what best practice is in these types of situations except to avoid them.
But adding a target in between to guide your robot to take the right path is probably a good option.
