Looking for info on System diagnostics and default error ID's

Hello,

I am looking for info how to use system diagnostics. Maybe some one can point me in the right direction? 

Currently I'm looking for any general info on diagnostics: what it is, how to use, what info would be present, is it possible to automatically receive and store it remotely, maybe get ir with PCsdk? 

I'm also looking for default controller error id's and there descriptions / handling sugestions.
