Ethernet IP master slave
Good Afternoon all.
I am trying to configure an IRC5 controller to work as an Ethernet IP master device to a few IO devices, but have currently had no luck. I am trying to use a Numatics G3 Ethernet IP valve bank, and a Beckhoff BK9105 Ethernet IP communication adapter.
the robot has the Ethernet IP m/s option loaded onto the controller, and I have created a unit type for each module with the correct parameters taken from the EDS for the devices. I have tried it with and without a switch between the robot and the device, configured it using the parameter "internal slave".
has anyone had success using the IRC5 controller as a master on an Ethernet IP network controlling any type of IO device?

Hi
The problem is most likely solved with the cfg parameter -EN_ConnectionPriority "SCHEDULE".Possible values:
-EN_ConnectionPriority "LOW" (this is default today)
-EN_ConnectionPriority "HIGH"
-EN_ConnectionPriority "SCHEDULE"
-EN_ConnectionPriority "URGENT"
In RW 5.15 track this parameter is configurable via RS/FP.0 -
is it possible that an additional hardware option is required to operate the IRC5 controller as a Master Ethernet device, besides needing the m/s software option?0

No other option is needed using standard LAN for Ethernet IP fieldbus0
