Is there any ways to use OmniCore controller as EtherCAT slave for communication with PLC instead of Ethernet/IP ?
Any add-on cards? Rumors for near future?

    Hi Fritz,
    It seems that so far it can only be used with Ethernet/IP or ProfiNet.
    I haven't heard any rumors about EtherCat support. Maybe it is best to call your local ABB supplier to ask them about this.

    No, definitely not. They give out far fewer rumors than on the forum. :)
