ABB PROFIsafe Configuration
Options
Hello, I'm trying to communicate two IRC5 Robots through PROFIsafe. I have the right options, just checked the manuals.
First Robot Controller Options:
RobotWare: 6.10
First Robot Controller Options:
RobotWare: 6.10
841-1 EtherNet/IP Scanner/Adapter
888-2 PROFINET Controller/Device
997-2 PROFIsafe F-Host and Device
611-1 Path Recovery
613-1 Collision Detection
614-1 FTP SFTP and NFS client
996-1 Safety Module
1125-1 SafeMove Basic
Second Robot Controller Options:
RobotWare: 6.15
Second Robot Controller Options:
RobotWare: 6.15
709-1 DeviceNet Master/Slave
841-1 EtherNet/IP Scanner/Adapter
623-1 Multitasking
888-2 PROFINET Controller/Device
997-1 PROFIsafe F-Device
1241-1 Prepared for ABB CI502
1125-2 SafeMove Pro
996-1 Safety Module
First Robot is the PROFIsafe F-Host, and the Second Robot is the F-Device.
I have configured the two robots using Engineering Tool and Robotstudio 2024.
The communication worked while only PROFINET IO was configured.
Once I configure the Safety IO Modules and error is shown on Robotstudio.
From the Controller (First Robot) Perspective, connecting via Robotstudio i got this error:
"Device Must be Configured" and an exclamation mark is shown over the Device.
Once I delete the Safety IO Modules the PROFINET is back again.
I wonder if someone has tried to do this before and could help me with some information i may have lost on the way.
Thanks in Advance!!

How did you set the source adress and destination adress of the sdi and sdo devices?
When you click on the device and show properties, you should set up the Source Adress and Destination Adress of the devices. Otherwise you will have confilct.0
