    Hi guys,

    With RobotStudio 5.10 when you register you now need to specify a network card.

    Will the license key be generated according to this card's MAC address meaning that:

    1-If you change your network card you won't be able to reinstall without contacting Sweeden.

    2- If you're a really really bad persone you'll be able to install RobotStudio an infinite number of times with the same key just by swtiching your network card to other computers?image

    Hi

    The License Key Request Wizard selects default the best choice. But you have the possibility to change this if necessary.

    1:  Yes, you need to contact us when changing network cards.

    2:   Not possible.

    Hi Jet,

    Just a small clarification.
    The RobotStudio license has always been locked to a network adapter. It used to be chosen automatically which could cause problems in some cases (e.g. laptops). So in 5.10 we've made it possible for the user to choose adapter.

    As for point 2, the network adapter must be present in the computer when you run the product!
