Has something changed on this forum regarding attaching images in forum posts?

I can see that when I click on the image button, it only pops up a box which says, "image url".  I cannot seem to browse or insert attachment.

It should still be possible to upload an image to imgur.com (or equivalent) and link it to the post here.

But as I remember you could paste images directly into your post before?

And instead of just url link you could browse an image from your local harddrive.

I would also like to be able to select images for forum posts directly from my hard drive

It is true that this was possible before.

A decision was made to disable that feature so that it would be impossible to share files, and potentially harmful files, on this platform.
