Robot Studio and VMWare Workstation
Options
Hello,
I have a computer running under Linux and I'd like to run Robot Studio under Windows XP SP2 with a virtual machine via the VM Ware Workstation software.
So I download the latest version of RS. Then I install it on my virtual machine (VM).
Then when I load RS, I have the following message : "Your Premium version has expired. You could use the functions basis".
But I just can create a system. Not even moving a robot or creating a path or points.
So I thought it was possible at least to try RS during 30 days.
So what's up ???
Thanks for your help

Hi,
The trial period is disabled when running on a virtual machine. You need to activate RobotStudio for it to run.

Why is that ?

The reason is to prevent misuse of the trial period.Henrik Berlin
