Why there is profinet cable on SpotGun?

Hi everybody 

We will work a spot welding robot (IRB 6640). I saw a profine adaptor on controller then this adaptor connect to manıpulatar. and profinet cable is going to axis 6. I didnt see profinet cable here before. Do you have any idea why is it there?
